History: The Genesis of Life School
In 2016, a vision began to take shape. Life School was founded not in a conventional setting but from the hearts and homes of dedicated homeschoolers who recognized the need for a more dynamic, responsive education system. These passionate educators, driven by their own experiences and the success stories of their homeschooled children, envisioned a school that combined the personalization of homeschooling with the structure and rigor of traditional schooling.
Our goal? To create an environment where learning is organic, relevant, and tailored to individual needs. The homeschooling foundation emphasized the importance of one-on-one interactions, fostering a deep understanding of each child’s strengths, interests, and aspirations. Life School was birthed from this philosophy, and the ethos of homeschooling remains woven into its fabric, influencing our teaching methods, curriculum choices, and the close-knit community we cherish. From humble beginnings in living rooms and backyards, Life School has grown into a beacon of progressive education. Yet, our roots in homeschooling continue to guide us, reminding us that every child is unique, and true education must adapt, evolve, and cater to that individuality.

With his deep understanding of educational logistics and a heart committed to every teacher’s and student’s passion and well-being, Max is the backbone of our day-to-day operations.
Dave
Co-Founder & Director
Dave was an original digital nomad, moving to Phuket in 2005 as a proprietary stock trader, and later worked in both Wealth Management and Asset Management prior to starting up Life School for his own children. His vision for a different educational path for his children formed the basis for what would become the unique approach to prepare the students for the actual modern world they will be living and working in.
